Dark maroon cloth; spine decorated with black lettering in a gilt block. Light foxing/toning to text block's top edge. Interior pages are clean. Binding retains some crispness. A near fine copy in a very good+ dust jacket. With b/w photographs and illustrations, Dedication, Acknowledgements, Appendix, Bibliography, Notes, and Index.
