The author's first novel. Original black cloth with silver gilt titles to the backstrip. Pushed a little at the spine tips, the corners are sharp, the book is square and tight, the text-block remarkably fresh. Free from previous owner names etc, pretty much a Fine copy. The dustjacket is unclipped with no tears or nicks to the edges. It is, however, oddly creased and just a little bit stretched - the front flap may have been used as a book mark by a previous owner. Also quite creased at the crown. Neverthless, it looks great and is spotlessly clean - a VG jacket. Now becoming scarce in the first edition.

The default standard shipping rate is applicable only to posters and smaller, thinner books (weighing less than 1 Kilo) which will ship at a letter-rate and does not include tracking. Shipping charges for lighter items - postcards, photographs or ephemera e.g. - are usually much lower and will automatically be adjusted by the seller before your order is processed to reflect the applicable lower rates. Postcards, e.g. should incur postal charges of no more than 5 euros.

For bulkier, heavier books and valuable items please select the priority shipping option. "Priority" includes full tracking by default and items weighing up to 10kg.
