A very scarce 1st edition, 1st issue of this famed treatise on Fox hunting by the self annointed Master of the Craven hounds, extra illustrated with hand watercolored plates and full page engravings and a fold out map with half title and engraved frontis of the hounds in action at Hambledon, 1828, fine text, however, the entire book, has been rebound in 20th century cloth, could use a rebound in 1/2 calf and marbled boards. only one other copy listed in poor condition, that being a 2nd issue of 1841, a very rare book. at any means or estimate.
