Near Fine in Wraps: shows only the most minute indications of use, but shows two important flaws: first, UNDERLINING AND HI-LIGHTING FOR THE FIRST 90 PAGES OR SO; and second, a former owner has covered the book with a heavy vinyl contact paper [this has been carefully done and might be considered an asset]; else just a hint of spine lean, but the binding remains perfectly secure. But for the Hi-lighting, would be very close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. (Developments in Cardiovascular Medicine Series). First Ed thus, later printing. Textbook Paperback.
