Text complete, epistle to the reader bound after preface. With copperplate pictorial added title page. Title page printed in red and black. Folio (12-1/2" x 7-3/4"; 31.75 x 19.7 cm). Contemporary paneled calf, rebacked, blind rules and corner fleurons to boards, raised bands, blind fillets, lettering piece and gilt date to spine, gilt tooling to board edges, edges of text block rouged, hinges reinforced. Light rubbing and some scuffs, scratches and small stains to boards, rubbing and light wear to board edges, corners bumped and worn, front joint cracked, hinges starting, later and recent bookplates (of William Priestly, The Halifax Literary and Philosophical Society, Craig Burns and Dr. and Mrs. H.R.
