This lot includes 5 issues of this national (US and Canada) contributor sponsored publication limited edition alternative artist magazine. Each issue accepted individual 8.5 by 11 inch photocopies, prints or originals which were then bound and issued in an edition of only 105 copies. Originally known as Velocity, the name was changed to Estudio beginnning with Issue #10. Originally published by Sheila Holtz of Philadelphia, PA and later through the Amie Oliver and the Department of Art at Longwood College, Farmville, VA. Similar to Art/ Life in format. Included are issues 10, 11, 12, 15 and 18. Issues #10 (April 1988), 11 (July 1988) and #12 (December 1988), are good only with the perfect bindings coming apart creating two sections; Issue #15 (1989) is spiral bound and near fine; Issue #18 (1990) is spiral bound vg with cover almost loose otherwise near fine.
