Volume 2: engraved portrait frontispiece of Thomas Warton, B.D. (painted by Sir J. Reynolds/ engraved by N. Schiavanetti/published: Suttaby, Aug. 1, 1810), [i]-iv + extra pages of Appendix to Volume II, (some are misnumbered & out of order), bound in here at the front. [1]-503, including complete appendix; (pp. [1]-34 is the Literary Life of Dr. Hawksworth; pp. [35]-236 is: "On the Contributors to the Rambler, Adventurer and Idler", pp. [237]-352 is: "Papers written during and between the Rambler, Adventurer and Idler", pp. [353]-503 is: "Papers published between the close of the Idler, and the present period", including table of publications: 1709-1809, & appendix). Bound in old calf, with the spines re-backed in modern, brown calf, with five raised bands, and black leather title labels, gilt-lettered with titles, etc., new headbands, inner hinges strengthened with cloth tape. Spines show some scratches, abrasions, general age wear to the cover surfaces, edges, corners; some tanning to frontispieces, book edges.
