277 pp with 8 page publisher's list ( for Spring 1938 ), maps to endpapers, 70 b/w photos, bound in black cloth with white title to spine, Bristol Cathedral School crest in gilt to front cover, prize label to first blank. Top corners bumped, spine ends fraying, some white marks to head of spine and rear cover, a few scattered foxing spots, good solid copy, dust wrapper grubby and much worn and torn with considerable loss.
