In good condition. Grey cloth blind tooled boards slightly faded with gilt titles to front. Owners name and date to front pastedown otherwise clean. A very scarce collection of five Lent lectures given by the Reverend Elwin at the Octagon Chapel, Bath in 1850 on the subject of Ephraim. The titles are: Ephraim in a Backsliding State, Ephraim in an Insensible State, Ephraim in a Deserted State, Ephraim in a Penitent State, and Ephraim in a Pardoned State.
