Hardback octavo, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), minor edgewear jacket. 360 pp. These essays are written by clinicians who practice mainly from a psychodynamic framework, but wish to include cognitive-behavioral techniques within their contemporary psychodynamic practice. Part 1 shows why integration is essential, and presents a model for cognitive assessment within an ego psychological framework. Part 2 illustrates the integration in practice with children, adolescents, older adults and couples. The editors, Terry Brumley Northcut and Nina Rovinelli Heller, are American academic clinical social workers.
