xxxii, 862pp. Half leather over marbled boards, sprinkled edges. Profusely illustrated with hundred of figures, diagrams, and photographs. Of particular relevance is an article on French car manufacturer Peugeot with several photographs of various motor carriages, such as the 1888 first type, two-seated carriage, break with five seats, omnibus with five seats, etc. (some already with a reverse gear), and several diagrams. 1896 is the year in which Armand Peugeot founded his own automobile factory after disagreements with his family.
