About this Item
First UK Edition. Publisher's oatmeal cloth lettered in black to the spine. The book itself is VG+ without any faults (although strangely it was not published with a front free end-paper) and the dustwrapper is about VG. It is printed on very thin paper (no thicker than a daily newspaper) so has suffered somewhat. All tips/ corners are worn and there are six or so tears in the same areas measuring approx. 1cm - 3cm. They have been reinforced from the reverse side with very close matching paper strips so it actually presents quite well though there is some loss, notably at the top of the spine (1.5cm X 3cm chip) and at the bottom of the spine (0.75cm X 0.75cm chip). Looks nicer than it sounds now housed in a polypropylene dustwrapper protector. SF dystopian novel, very scarce! Eutopia set in 2045 at the end of 100 years of peace. Armageddon (See Revelation 16) and the Second Coming of Christ. The author was born in Egypt and lived in England from childhood. NB: This is the "true" first edition of this title that pre-dates its US counterpart by 12 months. Photographs/scans available upon request. Seller Inventory # 355490721866
