'Emma' - set in Jane Austen's Regency England, among the country abiding gentry, sees Emma Woodhouse who arranged the lives all around her. This is scarce as a First Edition in the Signet Classics. The covers are age-toned but solid with a lovely illustration to the front. There is some age-toning to the edges and spine. Spine is complete with a little creasing but nice and solid. Contents: There is no writing or marking to the contents. The pages are lightly read with minor curl to tips of some pages and there is some age-toning to fore-edge of text block. Very slight lean, but overall, a solid copy for the Jane Austen completist who is looking to add a first thus to their collection. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
