Emerging Trends in Expert Applications and Security (Paperback)

The book covers current developments in the field of computer system security using cryptographic algorithms and other security schemes for system as well as cloud. The proceedings compile the selected research papers presented at ICE-TEAS 2023 Conference held at Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre, Jaipur, India, during February 17–19, 2023. Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Singh Rathore, Ph.D. (Computer Science), MCA, M.Tech. (CS), MBA, ICAD-USA, ICDA-USA, Diplomas in French and German, Professor-CSE and Director―OutReach, Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre, Jaipur. Presently working as Professor-CSE and Director―OutReach, Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre, Jaipur (India), and Membership Chair, ACM Jaipur Chapter, and Past Chairman, CSI Jaipur Chapter. He has teaching experience of 20+ years, 5 patents published, 20 Ph.D. supervised, published 94 research papers and 10 books and associated as editor and reviewer in some reputed journals, received 20+ national and international awards of repute. His core research areas include Internet security, cloud computing, big data, and IoT. He has organized and participated in 25+ national and international conferences of repute. His foreign visits for various academic activities (Delegate/Invited/Keynote Speaker/Session Chair/Guest) include the USA, UK, Canada, France,Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, etc. He had been Member of Indian Higher Education Delegation and visited 20+ leading universities at Canada (May 2019), UK (July 2017), and the USA (August 2018) supported by AICTE and GR foundation. Other delegation visits include University of Amsterdam (2016), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2018), University of Lincoln, QMUL, Brunel University, and Oxford Brookes University (2020) for discussions on academic and research collaborations. He is Active Academician and always welcoming and forming innovative ideas in the various dimensions of education and research for the better development of the society.

Prof. Vincenzo Piuri has received his Ph.D. in computer engineering at Polytechnic of Milan, Italy (1989). He is Full Professor in computer engineering at the University of Milan, Italy (since 2000). He has been Associate Professor at Polytechnic of Milan, Italy, Visiting Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, USA, and Visiting Researcher at George Mason University, USA. His main research interests are artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, intelligent systems, machine learning, pattern analysis and recognition, signal and image processing, biometrics, intelligent measurement systems, industrial applications, digital processing architectures, fault tolerance, cloud computing infrastructures, and Internet of Things. Original results have been published in 400+ papers in international journals, proceedings of international conferences, books, and book chapters. He is Fellow of the IEEE, Distinguished Scientist of ACM, and Senior Member of INNS. He is IEEE Region 8 Director-elect (2021-22) and will be IEEE Region 8 Director (2023-24).

Marta Campos Ferreira is Researcher and Invited Assistant Professor at Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto. She holds a Ph.D. in Transportation Systems from the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (MIT Portugal Program), an M.Sc. in Service Engineering and Management from the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto, and a Lic. in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of University of Porto. She is Co-Founder and Co-Editor of the Topical Collection "Research and Entrepreneurship: Making the Leap from Research to Business" with SN Applied Sciences and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Management and Decision Making. She has been involved in several R&D projects in areas such as technology-enabled services, transport, and mobility. Her current research interests include service design, human-computer interaction, data science, knowledge extraction, sustainable mobility, and intelligent transport systems.
