The rare first edition of 1847, in very good condition. The 208-page text is in very good, tight and clean condition, with no foxing and only very very light age-browning. A couple of blank margins are neatly trimmed without loss. Old bookseller's stamp and a beautifully written 1853 inscription on the half title. Publisher's printed booklist on the end papers. The original green cloth hardback binding, with blind decoration on the front and back and title on the front, is in very good+, tight, clean condition. Weight 195g. See photographs attached. (H).
