A first edition, first impression of T.H White's urbanely-imagined fantasy. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with original unclipped dustwrapper. The first edition of this novel, which describes the physical and spiritual adventures of an eccentric English writer, who is visited by an archangel at his Irish home. The archangel warns him of a Flood and encourages the building of an ark. A smart copy of this work. In the publisher's original cloth binding. With unclipped duwstwrapper. Externally, very smart with light fading to the extremities. Dustwrapper is generally smart, with sunning to the spine and extremities. Chips to he head and tail of spine as well as to the extremities. A few marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with just the odd spot. Very Good Indeed.
