Two volumes: Exquisite binding. Vol.1. 1845. Arithmetic & Algebra; Vol.2. 1847: Geometry. In the original marbled green brown boards. New quarter calf spine with 5 raised gilt bands and titles. Pages are clean & tight. Volume 1 consists of mathematical & algebraic formulas. Volume 2 consists of geometric formulas. There are 12 plates, some folding at the rear of the book. These consist of planes, projections, etc. The last plate is a magnificent isometric projection of a powder magazine done to scale. Volume 1 - 598 pages; volume 2 - 138 pages + plates. The author was the inventor of the Whetstone Bridge, a method of comparing the resistances of wires of different thicknesses. Source - Wikipedia.
