The scope is widened to include some material within the province of civics and sociology. Each chapter is brief and is a complete unit. Illustrated w/ B&W photos, maps and flow charts, exercises at end of each chapter, viii+400+4pp of ads. Thomas Nixon Carver (1865?1961) was an American economics professor. Book written while he held a position as professor of political economy at Harvard University (1902?1935). He was the secretary-treasurer of the American Economic Association (1909?1913) and was elected its President in 1916. This copy was not publicly owned.
