Only 120 copies printed. pp.171, many b.w. photographic text illus. of nests and eggs, recently finely bound in 1/2 green morocco gilt, with raised bands and emblems to spine, original printed wrappers bound in. Fine condition throughout. A description of the collection, taken drawer by drawer, and for each clutch are details of the circumstances of their being taken. The collection was the result of 24 years continuous work, from 1883. There are eggs of 526 species (1914 specimens), out of the 766 known birds in Australia. Very rare. Size: 4to.
