Add to basketFirst Edition, First Printing (with an interesting association) of this discussion of aspects of the concept of stationary states in economics by a major Cambridge economist of the first half of the 20th century, A. C. Pigou. Has both the bookplate and handwritten previous owner name of economist and former Northwestern University president Robert H. Strotz. Strotz wrote "1942" with his name which would place the original acquisition of the book during the scholar's undergraduate days at the University of Chicago. Blue cloth, 326 pages. A handsome copy with light general wear. The Strotz bookplate is on the front pastedown page and the handwritten name and date are on the front endpaper. Has the vintage sticker of a Chicago bookstore on the back pastedown page.
