1st edition, thus. A Good copy. 8vo., 314, (6), 8 pp. Bound in period full leather with title on a red morocco label on the spine. Boards rubbed with edge wear; tips bumped. Lacking all front and rear end papers. Previous owner's name and 1807 date written on the title page in ink. Last two pages have their lower corners torn. A scarce, early New Jersey imprint. Fowler (1760-1850) came to New Jersey in 1797 and served churches in Mount Holly, Coles Town, Monmouth Court House (now Freehold), Spotswood, Shrewsbury, and Middletown until 1806, when he removed to New York and soon thereafter, to South Carolina.
