Item description from seller

FIRST EDITION in dust jacket. The book is NEAR FINE with some minimal wear at the top and bottom edges of the front board. The price-clipped dust jacket is worn at the rear of the back spine fold and has some paper loss at the spine ends and at the lower front flap fold. Probable young adult novel about a young boy and his film directing uncle on set and making a movie. The author’s note on the rear dust jacket panel says he wrote the book to talk about all the people behind the scenes - ‘the large amount of labor and the small amount of glamour.’ The front cover illustration is of a movie camera in the foreground with a wagon train, the subject of the movie, in the background.
