Item description from seller

Martinus Nijhoff Publishers, 1987. Green hardcover textbook, xv + 384 pages including bibliography and index, references at end of each chapter, illustrated with figures and a few photos (and plenty of equations, of course), no dust jacket. This copy in very good or better condition. Clean, unmarked text. No hi-liting or marginal notes. Firm binding. The only flaw on the covers is a nick in the hinge near the backstrip. Sl. rubbed back cover. The book looks very little used--interior about like new. Highly technical (mathematical). For advanced engineering or possibly architecture students and faculty. More info and/or photo on request.

Store description

I started selling books online around 1997-8, first on Bibliofind and then on Amazon. In my youth, I worked for a college textbook store and later at a university library. So I'm no stranger to scholarly books. Although semi-retired now, I still collect books and currently list for sale items no longer wanted in my personal library. Thus I do not have a large inventory as I am working from home. Still, I have an eclectic collection as befits a former librarian. My stock includes textbooks and scholarly books, with an emphasis on history, philosophy, and religion. My approval rating when I was with Amazon was 99% (2 were neutral). I'll try to accommodate any reasonable request.…
