Book Condition: Good; suntoning to spine; bumping to head and tail; light soiling to boards. No DJ. Light green cloth boards and spine with dark green lettering on the spine and front board. Clean internals. Inner hinges are sound and not split. 251 pp small 8vo. . Haldeman-Julius was an American social reformer and publisher. His wife, Anna Marcet Haldeman was an American feminist, playwright, editor, author, and bank president. They lived in Girard, KS which was the setting for this book. They were also publishers of progressive works by obscure radical authors. Dust is a novel of domestic life set on the Kansas prairie in the midst of the Dust Bowl and The Great Depression with themes of labor unrest, socialism, farming and banking.
