A limited edition of 1,500 copies--1929. Red cloth with gold gilt lettering and decorations--gold gilt top paper edge with dozens of splendid color illustrations by Jean De Bosschere--translated by J. Lewis May. A somewhat risqué book for the times--certainly for 1929--as the illustrations are quite telling. This is copy 304 of 1,500 copies produced. A beautifully preserved copy with light toning to the red cloth and a scratch to the gold gilt top edge. Scarce to find with original dustjacket but very nice in this condition.
