This is a true UK first edition / first printing, with 'First British edition published 1973' on the copyright page. The author is quoted as saying that this is his favourite collection. There is some foxing to the top text block. Also, the cream colour on the jacket has darkened over time. Otherwise, a very nice copy of a scarce book by the hugely-influential Argentinian author of 'Fictions' and 'Labyrinths', winner of the Priz International and many other awards.
