All three volumes of this set. Bound in half-leather with marbled boards with some surface rubbing and rubbing and fraying to the edges and corners. The spines have fairly bright gilt lettering with some rubbing to the raised bands. The pages are gilt edged at the top and the edges have some marking in places on each volume. Marbled endpapers. There is a previous owner's book plate to the front pastedown in each volume. There is brown spotting to the first and last few pages in each volume. Volume I has a frontispiece which is quite heavily browned. There is some brown spotting in a few places through the volumes and the pages are a little browned but otherwise generally unmarked. First printing. Because this is a heavy six volume set there will be an additional postage charge for all orders.
