Funny and charming children's story about a little girl and her Dragon" who have to wait for "The Right Moment, to cause a major hullabaloo; in contemporary language refered to as acting out." Koren, notable for his astute, scribbly drawings in the New Yorker, perfectly captures the dragon's antics. Apple green boards with a large blind-stamped dragon, brown linen spine with gilt titles, tips bumped, dust jacket has long been protected in a Brodart but suffered some creasing at top back panel , closed 1&1/2" tear near spine on front panel and chip to bottom tip; none of these apparent in protective cover. First printing, first edition.".
