Charming collection of fairy poems by Walter de la Mare featuring more than 60 illustrations by Caldecott Medal winning artist Dorothy Lathrop. Collated and complete.Including a beautiful frontispiece, in colour.Walter John De La Mare was an English poet, short story writer, and novelist. He is probably best remembered for his works for children, for his poem "The Listeners", and for a highly acclaimed selection of subtle psychological horror stories, amongst them "Seaton's Aunt" and "All Hallows". In the publisher's original cloth binding with gilt lettering to the front board and spine. Externally, very smart, with slight bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. A few marks to the front board. Internally, slight age-toning to the free-endpapers, as usual. Slight spotting to the first and last few pages, and a couple spots throughout, but otherwise pages are clean. Very Good Indeed.
