Elizabeth Scott was born on a farm near Campbellford in 1866, at the age of 23 she volunteered for missionary work in India having originally trained as a teacher in Winnipeg. She married John Matheson in 1890 and later took her medical training in Toronto. This is her BIOGRAPHY of 171 pages + 3 page bibliography at the back. B/W family photos scattered throughout text.
