This is one of a series of publications by the The Surgical Clinic -- Stereo-Clinic consisting of cardboard pages, each containing text and paired photos meant to be viewed with a Cliniscope optical device. .shows the technique of operation with all the depth, relief, and vividness of the actual operation. This volume contains amazingly clear paired photos apparently of Robt Jones , performing this operation for talipes equino-vraus paralyticus with hyprextension of all the phalanges on the metatarsals (Hammer toes) . . marked pes cavus. . ." Robert Jones (1858-1933) was one of the greatest figures in British orthopedics. He built up a school of orthopaedics (the Liverpool School ), etc. The folder and sheets are fine, and the slipcase has some seam splitting and partial erosion of spinal labels. Very uncommon.
