Recent leather boards and spine lined in gilt and the latter with scarlet label lettered in gilt. Internally new endpapers; first blank professionally restored and with inscription dated 1822; engraved portrait frontis restored and also the title page; the preface a little foxed and soiled but only occasional minor blemishes to the bulk. The Preface, the Contents and the Analytical sections unpaginated, thereon pp 503 + (1 ads). Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
