** 1ST BRITISH EDITION ** Sturdy cloth-bound hardcpver book WITH dustjacket. Published by Methuen, 1967, with 491 pages, dozens of photos and other illustrations, endpaper maps. Bound in heavy-duty cloth-covered boards with embossed silver lettering on the front and the spine. The book itself is flawless, appears unread and is in As New condition. The dustjacket shows slight wear and one short closed edge tear from shelf-use along the top edge, but jacket has no other notable flaws. Jacket is quite clean, still bright, unmarked, and stain-free, no pieces missing. One soft corner crease at the top corner of the inside front flap. The book is quite clean and stain-free, square and straight, very firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, folded, creased, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are sharp and unbumped. All pages are clean and stain free, and all text is sharp and legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or other such markings anywhere in the book. The dustjacket is clean and stain-free, complete and intact, has no tears, no pieces missing, no edgewear, no creases.
