First edition thus. Thick octavo-size paperback. Very good. A fine introduction to Pepys's monumental diary, this selection itself including 1000 pages. Taken from "The Diary of Samuel Pepys, a new and complete transcription", edited by Robert Latham and William Matthew. This edition has a very good introduction, preface and chronology.
