Burgundy covers with blind stamped decoration to front and rear. Titles on pasted on labels to spines.I believe that these books have new spines which I only surmise as the end papers are so white. Vol.1 has small stamps on reverse of title page of Bolland Collection and also British Library. First five pages of Preface are loose but holding. There are pencil notes in the bottom margin in tiny writing to three of the preface pages o/w internally very clean with no foxing. Volume 2 is clean and bright throughout. A nice set.
