Faint foxing present on boards and some pages. 1 copy in OCLC as of April 2020. Livingston (1840-1915) was a New Zealand soldier. These are his diary entries from ''9th June, 1868 to 3rd January 1869,'' ''?a crucial period in South Taranaki history.'' Transcribed by Houston, many of Livingston's entries read short, ''Chubbin, Breze and I go down the Waingongoro looking for cattle, see none.''
