Two volumes, First Edition, ix + 366 + (ii) + 24pp of book adverts; (x) + 391 + (ii), well-illustrated, two portrait frontis and eight engraved plates, hardcovers, 8vo, bound in brown cloth, gilt lettered, bindings a little rubbed, but hinges strong and firm, Provenance: with the ex libris angling bookplate of Ballynahinch in each volume [engraving signed by PCB [P. C. Baker], Del & Sc. which features a rod, reel, gaff hook and landing net with four fish, two rifles; river with mountains in background; two dead birds and one live bird], Longmans, Green And Co. London, 1893. Additional Provenance: this bookplate features in 'A Catalogue of An Exhibition of Angling Book Plates' Held by the Grolier Club, New York, 1918.
