Rare. Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Robert Southey's satirical ballad of the Devil's tour of England, first printed in the Morning Post in 1799 and published here under the fictional name of Professor Richard Porson. Illustrated by Robert Cruikshank with 5 plates. Good Condition. Paper covers. Binding is firm. All plates present. Contents are a little tanned with minor spotting. Curling to corners. Paper covers have some chipping to edges and minor loss to edges. Loss to spine as is common with paperbound editions from the 1830s. Small ring mark to upper cover. Tanning to edges.
