Item description from seller

1931. First edition. xv, 302pp., a frontispiece portrait and 7 other black and white illustrations. Small pieces are missing from the corner tips and the spine ends are bumped and nicked with small pieces missing and a larger piece missing from the bottom rear spine corner. There is a tear of about 1 1/2" on the bottom rear spine edge and a few other smaller tears on the edges. The larger tears have been repaired on the reverse with document repair tape.…
