Raymond Renefer, pseudonyme de Jean-Constant-Raymond Fontanet, né à Bétheny (Marne) le 2 juin 1879, mort à Andrésy (Yvelines) le 14 octobre 1957, est un peintre, illustrateur et graveur français. Ancien élève de l'École des beaux-arts de Paris, Raymond Renefer a une formation d'architecte et se dirige vers la peinture dès 1900. Il expose dans nombre de galeries et Salons parisiens et est particulièrement actif au Salon des indépendants auprès de Paul Signac, en tant que secrétaire général pendant près de 30 ans, puis au Salon d'automne. En 1914, lors de sa mobilisation dans le 1er régiment du génie, l'artiste est déjà reconnu comme un talentueux dessinateur et graveur. Les premières recherches indiquent qu'il réalise la topographie des champs de batailles. Il est décoré de la Croix de Guerre en novembre 1918 pour avoir « exécuté maintes fois de périlleuses reconnaissances dans les secteurs de la Woëvre, de Champagne, de l'Oise, de l'Aisne, se portant spontanément aux points les plus exposés pour exécuter les travaux et croquis relatifs à son service ». L'artiste a tous les jours l'occasion de crayonner quelques croquis sur ses innombrables carnets, s'attachant à témoigner de la vie au front, et de l'homme dans les villages et paysages dévastés. L'éditeur d'art Gaston Boutitie lui commande des eaux-fortes de Verdun et de la Somme en 1916. Il réalise 2 port-folios de 15 gravures, décrivant la vie au front par l'eau-forte. Il témoigne du quotidien des hommes dans le conflit comme le ferait aujourd'hui un reporter de guerre. Il ne le fera pas pour la propagande ou comme les modernes, pour dénoncer le progrès des machines de guerre et la destruction, mais avec humanisme, pour témoigner de la vie de ces soldats dans le « no man's land ». C'est pour la vérité de son témoignage, la justesse de son trait que l'éditeur proposa à Renefer d'illustrer la première édition du Feu d'Henri Barbusse, en 1917.

Statutory Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the the last good or the last lot or piece.

You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. You can also electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us or Librairie Diona, 8 rue des Orteaux, 75020, Paris, France, +33 0671877393, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
