About this Item
Square booklet printed on reflective stiff blue paper with gatefold vellum wrappers bound with yellow cord. Clean, unmarked. A garishly decorated, multi-layered invitation card to a gala premiere of travelling exhibition Fellini: Costumes and Fashion at Bass Museum of Art, Miami 1996. Produced by Il Centro Per L'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Consorzio Pratotrade and Il Comune di Prato, the exhibition "creatively merges the fashion, film, and art worlds in a stunning tribute to the genius of Federico Fellini, director of some of the greatest films of the twentieth century." The card promises "images, magic, dreams and enchantment juxtaposed with the live theatrical artistry of Cirque and Fashions by Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour". Comes with separate RSVP card in original envelope. Card with minor wear - all pieces clean and fresh. Fun bit of ephemera keeping in the spirit of the director. Seller Inventory # ABE-1683237606488
