American edition, reprint (presumed third printing), 1929 (first printing of this edition was 1925 with a reprint in 1927). No jacket. Large format. With pictures by N.C. Wyeth. All nine colour plates are present and in very good condition. Black boards with gold lettering to spine and colour illustration laid onto front board are very good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small mark, odd small bump/rub to edges, odd small scratch/scrape to front illustration and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Rough cut page edges. Pages bit tanned. Top of pages slightly dusty. Neat gift inscription and date in pen to half-title page. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Light crease to top corner of a few pages. Small mark to lower corner of pages. Odd small mark/minor scattered foxing to pages.
