The boards have fading along the top edges of the front and rear panels with a heavy half inch band along the the top of the front panel. There is also a little fading at the bottom of the front panel and to the spine and the front panel also has some light staining to the right side. Rubbing and bumping to the corners. Page edges browned with some scattered spotting. Faint gift message to the front pastedown. Scattered spotting to the endpapers. The tops of the pages are a little creased suggesting the book has been damp at some time but although there is no staining. Small patch of damage to the text on the final page where it has got stuck to the rear free endpaper. The pages are a little browned but generally otherwise clean and unmarked. Over 30 black and white illustrations by David Williams. No jacket. First printing. Seller Inventory # 017745

I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. Please only choose the cheaper surface mail option if you do not mind waiting - the suggested upper time limit for this form of delivery is 60 days and it can take that long - and sometimes a bit longer. If therefore you wish to receive the book in 2-3 weeks then please opt for the more expensive postage option which will guarantee airmail delivery.
