Deane's Doctrine Of Naval Architecture, 1670 edited by Brian Lavery. First edition, first impression. Large Quarto. 128pp. This book is in near fine condition. The blue cloth boards are fine. The gilt titling to the spine is bright. The front free end paper has evidence of previous pencil marks rubbed out. Otherwise the pages, though slightly yellowed, are clean and the binding is tight. The dust jacket is in good condition. There is a 1cm closed tear to the top edge of the front of the dust jacket, adjacent to the spine, and another 1cm closed tear to the front top edge right corner. There is minor bumping to the top and bottom edges of the dust jacket. The surface of the dust jacket shows minor shelfwear, including 5 small bumps to the back of the dust jacket. The dust jacket is slightly yellowed, and the spine has been sunned. The dust jacket is price clipped.
