Review
Magnificently reproduces these extraordinary paintings --Good Book Guide
Possibly there's an exhibition catalogue that does more justice to its subject matter than this one, but if there is I've not seen it ... the ultimate art-lover's coffee-table book --Dales Life
A glorious indulgence! ... the illustrations are sumptuous. Whether you've visited the exhibition and want more, or are unable to get there, this is the book for you --Leisure Painter
[Margaret Drabble's essay is] perceptive and closely reasoned ... a tremendous book --The Birmingham Post
A great book for any fan of Hockney, with plenty of surprises for those familiar with his earlier work --The Market Magazine
Banish drab January with this explosion of new paintings ... an extraordinary body of new work --Daily Express
Beautiful. --Fabric
The perfect present for anyone who loved or missed Hockney's spectacular RA exhibition ... Lavish, opinionated, authoritative on the recent work, and with intriguing essays by, among others, Margaret Drabble and Martin Gayford --Best Books of 2012, The Financial Times
Loud, sometimes magical and often rhapsodically joyful --Metro
Bright, bold and beautiful --Vanity Fair
