Green cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Green end papers. A fine copy in a fine dust jacket, not faded at all. The jacket is of the first variety, without the Governor General's Award sticker on the front wrapper. Signed by Munro on the title page. Basically, an as-new copy. This copy was the property of Canadian author Phyllis Webb, and has been presented to her as a prize by the Canadian Booksellers Association in 1972. There is a brass plaque bearing a presentation to Webb affixed to the inner front cover, and a large gold CBA/IBY [International Book Year] prize sticker on the front fly-leaf. Laid in is a small holograph presentation note, twice folded, presenting the book to Phyllis Webb on B.C. Author's Day, October 20, 1972. A nice association, and a wonderful copy of a book difficult to find in fine condition. Seller Inventory # 57405
