Decorated by Will Vreeland. Octavo, 321 pages, dark green cloth covers with lighter green Celtic design on top cover and gilt titles. Green tinted illustration on endpapers of landscape with a Stonehenge-like stone monument. Page headings and some section breaks within each story are also adorned with Celtic designs, taken from the Book of Kells. The text and designs are printed in green-tinged ink. Six stories of Ancient Ireland. Music for the book was arranged by Geraldine G. Saltzberg. Dust jacket reproduces in gilt the Celtic design of the top cover. Laid in is the original sales slip dated February 13, 1917 from A. C. McClurg & Co. Chicago. The book is in near Fine condition.
