Yellow cloth boards with pale blue stamps, pictorial card onlaid on front board with some loss due to scuffage; two small (1/4"x 1/8th") holes on the card's surface and one larger (1/2" square). Flat spine tanned and bumped at head and tail, head frayed somewhat. Pp 135-148 rather carelessly opened along the top edges, with a 3" closed tear to pp 135/6, and a 1" closed tear on pp 137/8 which cut into the text, without loss; other tears, affecting the upper margin of the page have brought some loss to the upper margins only. Occasional foxing. Sound, tight copy. Vg.
