Paperback. 'At Midnight.the acrid stench of burned flesh, the sickeningly dull crack of a man's neck, the bitter-sweet smell of cyanide. Here are men who faced punishment by death. Some cheated the executioner at the last second when the special phone in the Death House rang. Some went to their deaths crying their innocence. One spent twelve years on Death Row before the Midnight Bride claimed him. One still fights for his life after five years under sentence of dearth. All faced the hell of life in the Death House.' 191pp. mass market p/back. From the library of true crime writer, Wilfred Gregg, with his personal b/plate. Sl. creased, some shelf wear, Nr. Vg.
