Small Octavo. Portrait frontispiece. 328pp. The author commanded both the Alabama and Sumter. This work is a collection from the author's private journals and papers from other military men. Bound in publisher's brown cloth decorated in blind, spine gilt (fading),some fading to edges of boards, light crease to front and rear corners, contemporary owner's name from Mobile, AL. A very good copy.
